Technical Skills:
In-depth understanding of Quality Center and Quick Test Professional.
Strong Development background in VB Script.
Exposure to object-oriented technologies like Visual basic, Java
Knowledge of Test Case Creation, Reviews, Test Execution, Test Data.

Experience :
2 - 4 yrs in testing including 1.5+ experience in Test Automation (QTP Only), design/ development

Responsibilities :
Prepare and maintain Test scripts and Test Data
Understanding of automation frameworks, understanding of automation approach
Peer review the Test scripts and Test data
Execute the test scripts and record the execution status in the Test Management tool,
Log all detected defects in the identified defect tracking tool,
Provides status to the Assignment Manager/ Test Analyst, as and when required.
Has prior experience in working with Onshore – Offshore Testing Model.
Understanding of Automation Test Planning & Strategy, Estimation, Metrics;
Ensure Deliveries are in time and above expectations.

Technology: Java
Position : Senior Consultant
Level : 03
Role : Project Manager
Technology Exposure: Core JAVA, Java scripts, Servlets, JSP, JSF, Hibernate / Spring, iBatis, XSL, Junit, design patterns

Experience :
Overall experienced should be 7-10 yrs.
Preference will be given to 2+ yrs of Project Management experience of handling medium to large size projects (1000+ person hrs) and operations work.
Leading a team with 10+ resources.
Should have hands on experience of Java technology, estimation techniques, and metrics understanding
Experience on Insurance domain related projects is preferred

Soft skills:
Excellent estimations, interpersonal skills, strong mentoring and decision making skills are required.
Managing excellent customer interactions and relations

Technical skills:
Though Java is primary skill requirement it is expected that candidate should be able to Lead projects involving multiple technologies (e.g. Mainframe, .NET etc)
Lead design, code construction and review efforts in collaboration with Application Developers and Technical Consultants on assigned projects
Suggest improvements in the relevant applications by actively participating in design/ architectural discussions
Assist in building up a functional & sustainable technical design/architecture practice

Project Management skills:
Managing SDLC process, looking out for the improvement opportunities
Metrics report generation, analysis and reporting
Managing effective communication between onsite & offshore teams, Status Reporting
